"Using the Avenue of Medicine to Minister the Gospel of Jesus"

Dear Friends and Family,

God is doing some wonderful things! We just returned from a mission trip to Mexico. Nine of us, including our 9 year old son Stefan, made our way down to Monclova, Mexico, where we met up with 70 other people connected with Texas A & M medical school. Doctors, med-students, pharmacists, as well as other interested students and family joined together to see about 750 patients in 3 1/2 days of free clinics. We split up into four groups and went to needy areas of the city. We had at least 40 people commit their lives to Christ, and many other professing Christians were encouraged. (See Photos here).

We greatly appreciate the Christian Medical Dental Association and the Texas A & M group, who gave the remaining medicines to M.M.I. for our African outreaches. We also want to express our sincere appreciation to those who accompanied us and were so helpful with our medical outreaches.

We are working with Blessings International to ship our 40-foot container of medical supplies to Nigeria. Due to new regulations set up by the Nigerian government, we have had many delays. But we praise God for United Missionary Services of Houston for housing our supplies until this is finalized.

Our next trip to Nigeria is from July 5th through the 27th. We have about 7 medical students and several ophthalmologist preparing to go with us. If you and/or someone you know are interested in joining us on this trip, please let us know. The cost will be approximately $1800.00 - 2000.00, which includes airfare, food, & lodging.

West African Advanced School of Theology and International Christian Hospital, our affiliated Bible College and Hospital in Nigeria, are currently doing their annual village outreach about 40 miles from Owerri, Nigeria, where the hospital and bible college are located. Please pray that God will have His way, and many will come to know Christ.

Thank you so much for your support and prayers. All monetary contributions are tax deductible and should be made payable to Medical Missions International.

In His love & service,

Stuart & Velvet Quartemont
